Frank Holmes on Gold, Copper and Lithium

During this year’s International Metal Writers Conference in Vancouver, Priscilla Barrera of Investing News Network chats with Frank Holmes about trends he is seeing in the commodity space. One of the topics they cover is the junior mining space specifically, and Priscilla wants to know if Frank has advice for investors looking to get into this area of the market.

Frank says, “Well, you have to do your homework. There is no doubt that you really have to be conscientious of the people behind the project.” He adds that there are definitely a lot of opportunities out there, while reminding viewers that he has always advocated a 10-percent portfolio weighting to gold, while rebalancing annually. Frank continues by noting two other commodities that he has his eye on for the remainder of 2017: copper and lithium.
